Attend to learn when and how millions of dollars of reclamation / remediation / restoration work will be performed in Atlantic Canada in the near future. Participants will learn the leading-edge trends and focus relating to ongoing and upcoming work of both Public Works and Government Services Canada, and the Department of National Defence as presented by Defence Construction Canada.

All Geoscientist NS members are encouraged to attend and expand their knowledge about professionalism and local geoscience issues relating to reclamation.

The workshop includes a series of presentations by local professionals.

Afternoon focus will be on Commnunity Liaison Committiees and the overall process to help ensure an efficient, transparent, and supported reclamation project. Hear first-hand experiences from organizations involved with the largest reclamation projects in Atlantic Canada.
